HighGround

Foundation Links

Don't just create profiles. Build your business across the internet.

A new business doesn't start with backlinks. It starts with an identity: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, business profiles, directories and dozens of other places where its brand begins to exist.

We don't just build profiles. We build Entity Assets: consistent, interconnected references to the same business across a much broader online footprint.

600 Entity Profiles · From $600 · Delivered within approximately 1 week

The problem

Most foundation link services stop too early.

The typical productized service

  • Create account.
  • Add link.
  • Submit for indexing.
  • Done.

The provider gets your URL, creates hundreds of profiles, adds your website, runs the URLs through an indexing process and sends you a spreadsheet. Job done.

High Ground takes a different approach, because that's not really how a new internet business establishes itself.

Think like a startup

What would a real business actually do after launching its website?

  • Create its social presence
  • Explain what the company does and talk about its services
  • Establish brand information and profiles across relevant platforms
  • Connect those profiles and establish consistent business information
  • Start appearing across directories and other web properties
  • Keep building, not everything on Monday and gone by Tuesday

It would start building an online presence.

That's the philosophy behind the High Ground Entity Foundation.

The difference

Foundation Links vs. Entity Assets

That's a very different product.

Regular foundation links

  • Create profile
  • Add website
  • Submit for indexing
  • Send report
  • Done

High Ground entity assets

  • Establish business identity
  • Create profiles
  • Strengthen titles & descriptions
  • Mention services
  • Standardize NAP
  • Connect social properties
  • Connect website
  • Build local signals
  • Build Tier 2 signals
  • Process for indexing
  • Continue reinforcing key properties

The methodology

Why we call them Entity Assets

Because the profile itself isn't the strategy. The information inside it is.

One business.

Hundreds of references.

Consistent information.

Connected properties.

A profile can describe your business through

  • Brand Name
  • Website
  • Business Description
  • Products & Services
  • Location
  • Phone
  • Social Properties
  • Business Category
  • Related URLs

Individually, these can look like small pieces of information. Collectively, they begin describing the same business across a much broader online footprint.

Our observation

The experiment that made us look at foundation links differently

We started seeing more than links. Originally, these campaigns were viewed primarily as foundational backlinks. Then we started paying attention to what search engines were actually discovering.

We observed Google crawling a number of the properties. Some of the information associated with the business began appearing across Google's search experiences. In some campaigns, fragments of information associated with these assets also appeared in AI-generated search experiences.

These weren't useful to us simply because they contained backlinks. They were places where information about an entity could exist and be discovered.

That's when our thinking changed from "Foundation Links" to "Entity Assets."

Important caveat

These are observations from High Ground campaigns rather than a guarantee that Google will crawl, index, retain or use every property, or that information will appear in AI Overviews.

But it changed how we build the product.

Before fulfilment

We don't build 600 copies of the same profile. We build around the business.

The objective is to make the campaign about the business entity, not simply the target URL.

The process

How we build your Entity Foundation

Seven steps, from mapping your business to reinforcing the assets in the weeks after launch.

01

Map Your Business

Before creating anything, we establish the information we're working with.

You provide your business name, website, primary services, business description, address, phone, target location, primary category and established social assets. Don't have everything? That's fine. We'll build around the information and legitimate assets you currently have.

02

Strengthen the Entity Information

Don't waste the fields.

Many profile-link providers care about one field: the website URL. We care about the information surrounding it: profile titles, business and service descriptions, categories, NAP, location, social connections and website references. The profile should communicate something about the business, not simply hold a backlink.

03

Build 600 Entity Profiles

Establish the footprint.

We begin creating the business across the selected profile and web properties. Quantity isn't the entire objective. We're establishing repeated, consistent references to the same entity. Same business. Same website. Same core identity.

04

Interconnect the Assets

Don't leave 600 islands.

Where appropriate and supported, we connect relevant properties with your website, your social profiles, other entity assets and supporting properties, creating relationships between properties rather than treating every profile as an isolated URL.

05

Build Tier 2 Signals

Strengthen the assets behind the website.

Instead of directing every supporting signal toward the money site, selected second-layer signals reinforce the properties surrounding it. Website ← Entity Assets ← Tier 2 Support. A layered campaign rather than hundreds of disconnected first-tier URLs.

06

Add Local Signals

Consistent location information where appropriate.

For businesses with a physical or defined service location, we incorporate business name, address, phone, target location and business category where relevant. The $900 package takes this further with 550+ dedicated local citations.

07

Index & Reinforce

Creation isn't the finish line.

Completed URLs are processed through our indexing/discovery workflow. Then, rather than simply sending the spreadsheet and forgetting the properties, selected assets continue receiving supporting activity during the first 1 to 3 weeks. That's an important part of the High Ground difference.

Why High Ground is different

Most providers sell URL creation. We sell the establishment of an online entity footprint.

Most providers

"600 profile backlinks."

High Ground

"600 properties describing and connecting the same business."

Most providers

"Here's your spreadsheet."

High Ground

"We continue reinforcing selected assets during the early campaign period."

Most providers

"Put the URL everywhere."

High Ground

"Use the information available to establish the business, services, NAP and connected entities."

Most providers

"Foundation links."

High Ground

Entity Assets.

Purpose

Not every link needs to be powerful. It needs to have a purpose.

Frequently asked

Straight answers.

Foundation Links are the supporting profiles, business properties, social properties, directories and other references that help establish a broader online footprint around a website. High Ground takes the concept further by treating these properties as Entity Assets rather than simply URLs containing backlinks.

Because our focus isn't simply creating a profile and inserting a website link. Where supported, we use the available information to reinforce the same business identity, including the brand, website, services, descriptions, NAP, location and established social properties.

The biggest difference is what happens around the link. Rather than treating the website field as the entire product, we focus on building out the business information, connecting relevant properties, adding supporting signals and reinforcing selected assets during the early campaign period.

Yes. Both catalog packages include 600 entity profiles according to the campaign specification.

Tier 2 refers to supporting signals directed toward selected entity properties rather than directing every supporting link or signal straight to the primary website. The objective is to reinforce the broader asset layer.

Where platforms support it, we connect relevant properties with the main website and other established business/entity assets. Not every platform offers the same fields or linking capabilities, so the exact implementation varies by property.

NAP stands for Name, Address and Phone. For applicable businesses, we use consistent NAP information throughout relevant parts of the campaign.

Because we're trying to establish what the business actually does rather than simply repeating its URL. Where fields allow, titles and descriptions can incorporate accurate information about the company's services and market.

Across applicable campaigns, our target/observed range is approximately 70 to 80%, depending on the assets and measurement period. Google and other search engines ultimately control crawling and indexing, so we cannot guarantee that a specific percentage of URLs will be indexed or remain indexed permanently.

Search engines can crawl publicly accessible web pages and use information from across the web in different ways. In our own campaigns, we've observed some information associated with entity properties appearing within Google's search experiences, which encouraged us to develop the methodology further. However, we don't claim that creating an Entity Foundation guarantees inclusion in Google's knowledge systems, rankings or AI Overviews.

There is no way to guarantee this. We've observed fragments of business information associated with some of these assets appearing in AI-generated search experiences, but inclusion is determined by Google. We treat that observation as evidence worth studying, not as a guaranteed product outcome.

The initial campaign build is targeted for approximately one week after the required business information has been confirmed. Selected properties can continue receiving reinforcement during the first 1 to 3 weeks.

Both packages include the complete 600-profile Entity Foundation. The $900 Entity + Local package adds 550+ local citations and an expanded local-signal layer. If you're primarily establishing an online business footprint, choose $600. If local search and geographic business signals are important to the campaign, consider $900.

No. They serve a different purpose. Foundation Links are designed to establish a broader online/entity footprint. Guest Posts, Blogger Outreach and Niche Edits can then be used as separate products for stronger editorial, topical and authority-focused link acquisition.

Yes. Agencies can order directly from the catalog. For larger volumes or recurring fulfilment, book a meeting with the High Ground team.
